InCoBAN recently hosted a webinar on “Sustainable Urban Development in India,” featuring a distinguished guest speaker, Dr. O.P. Agarwal. Dr. Agarwal, a renowned expert in urban development, transport, and public policy, served as a Distinguished Fellow at NITI Aayog and previously held the position of Joint Secretary in the Government of India. He is also a Professor of Practice at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and the Indian School of Public Policy (ISPP).

The webinar addressed the critical challenges facing Indian cities as they undergo rapid urbanization while grappling with the impacts of climate change. Dr. Agarwal shared his insights on the key challenges and potential solutions for developing sustainable and resilient urban centers.

The session included an interactive discussion between Dr. Agarwal and Sankar Subrahmanyam EVP, FIE, C Eng, Co-founder of InCoBAN, exploring the roadmap towards unlocking sustainable urban living in India.
