Advanced Leadership in Infrastructure & Construction (ALPIC): Building Resilient Infrastructure Leaders
The Advanced Leadership Program in Infrastructure & Construction (ALPIC) is a one-year program developed by InCoBAN in collaboration with Singapore Management University (SMU) ExD. Recognizing the critical need for visionary leaders in the infrastructure sector, particularly in the Global South, ALPIC aims to equip professionals with the knowledge, skills, and leadership qualities to navigate the complexities of sustainable development.
Key Focus Areas:
- Systems Thinking: Developing a holistic understanding of the interconnectedness of social, economic, environmental, and technological factors in infrastructure development.
- Leadership and Governance: Cultivating strong leadership qualities, including strategic thinking, decision-making, and stakeholder management.
- Sustainability: Integrating sustainability principles into all aspects of infrastructure development, including environmental, social, and economic considerations.
- Global Best Practices: Exposure to global best practices and innovative approaches in infrastructure development.
- Addressing Global Challenges: Developing the capacity to address global challenges such as climate change, urbanization, and resource scarcity.
Target Audience:
ALPIC is designed for experienced professionals with at least 10 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, including those from government agencies, international organizations, the private sector, and academia. The program initially focuses on participants from India, Africa, Middle East, and South East Asia.
